Ron Close, President, VoIP, Bell Canada
Ron Close is President, Bell New Ventures.Mr. Close started his career with progressively senior roles at companies such as Andersen Consulting, Motorola Canada (Codex Division), Unitel Communications and Delrina. In 1995 he was co-founder, President/CEO of Netcom Canada, one of Canada’s most successful Internet companies. In 1999 he sold Netcom became the President of Internet and e-Business for AT&T Canada. Mr. Close later joined Nextair Inc., a publicly-traded wireless software company, as Director and CEO.
Mr. Close holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is past-Chairman and a current Director of the Ivey Entrepreneurship Council.
