Industry Perspective: Staying Competitive with Collaborative Technologies
Tuesday, April 4, 2006, 1:30pm - 2:00pm
As society completes the quantum leap from an analog world into a digital one, time and proximity no longer hold sway over our relationships. The ubiquity of the Internet has given us 24/7 access to information, and mobile technology has unchained us from the desktop. We’ve evolved to a point where seamless real-time communication and collaboration across distances is not only possible, but also a competitive advantage for Canadian organizations.
Aisha Umar, Director of the Unified Communications Group, Canada & Latin America, for Microsoft Canada Co., will discuss the impact of collaborative technologies on business and culture in today’s fast-paced global market. Her presentation will highlight how some companies are already benefiting from a unified communications strategy, with a look at where the technology is headed in the future.
