Workshop B2: Rapid Deployment of IP Application Servers for IMS/SIP Conferencing
Wednesday, September 13, 2006, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

This session will discuss how service providers can quickly customize and deploy conferencing services using next generation SIP-based Application Servers and Service Creation Environments. We will compare IP-based vs. TDM-based conferencing approaches and illustrate how IP solutions can reduce OPEX while providing the highest possible scalability and flexibility not achievable with TDM-based approaches. We will also explore how using SIP peering in a conferencing application can reduce NETEX.
