Scott has extensive product management and marketing experience as well as a track record of success in the communications industry. Prior to BroadSoft, Scott was Vice President of Marketing at VocalTec Communications, the pioneer and a leading developer of IP Telephony software solutions. He was responsible for successfully refocusing the company's marketing strategy to dramatically increase both its customer base and market share. Throughout his career, Scott has spearheaded numerous groundbreaking initiatives, including the development of the first commercial IP telephony product and the creation of the ITSP industry. Scott holds an MBA from Yale University.
