Tom Valovic, Director, VOIP Infrastructure, IDC Tom Valovic is Director of IDC's IP Telephony Program. Tom has extensive experience within the telecommunications industry, where he has worked for over 20 years. Prior to his current position, he was Editor-in-Chief of Telecommunications magazine. He has also held marketing and managerial positions with such companies as Motorola, Ameritech, Booz Allen and Hamilton, the Racal Corporation and NASA. Tom is the author of the "telecommunications" entry in Collier's Encyclopedia and authored two books Corporate Networks: The Strategic Use of Telecommunications and Digital Mythologies.
