Charles Giancarlo, CTO, Cisco Systems
As Chief Technology Officer, Charles Giancarlo plays a key role in contributing to and communicating Cisco’s technology strategy and vision. In addition, he holds the senior leadership role for two groups, Voice Technology and Global Government Solutions.
In another key role, Giancarlo is President of Cisco-Linksys, LLC, the home networking market leader and an independent division of Cisco, providing wired and wireless products for the high growth consumer and SOHO networking market.
Giancarlo also co-chairs the Cisco Enterprise Business Council and is responsible for developing and executing Cisco’s business strategies for this important customer segment.
Giancarlo joined Cisco in December 1994. He holds advanced degrees from Harvard and the University of California at Berkeley, and received a B.S. from Brown University.
