As the adoption of VoIP services and technologies continues to accelerate, the foundation of the marketplace - comprised of customer needs, networking technologies and the regulatory environment - continues to evolve. Ms. Martine will share her perspective on the key trends and issues driving this evolution. In particular she will focus on the need for increased interoperability, stronger security, the ongoing globalization of VoIP services and the continued need for innovation throughout the value chain.



Cathy Martine, Senior Vice President, Internet Telephony, AT&T

Cathy Martine is currently Senior Vice President, Internet Telephony. Ms. Martine's responsibilities include accelerating AT&T’s entry into the local and DSL markets, new product development, unit cost management, and monitoring investments to improve the portfolio. She was recently appointed to lead all of AT&T’s VoIP initiatives across the corporation.

Ms. Martine is a 1993 Sloan Fellow (where she was awarded an M.S.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she also earned an MBA from New York University's Stern School, and a BA in economics from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
