In this presentation, the speaker will discuss how SIP-based applications leverage presence throughout the enterprise to streamline communications between remote and office-based workers, from front-offce and back-office, and across diverse work groups. Key themes are communications portals, identity management, security, and mobility.

Enterprise attendees interested in second generation IP applications will learn how to leverage the power of SIP-based solutions through a variety of IP infrastructure deployment models.

Joe Licata is president of the Enterprise Networks division of Siemens Communications, responsible for all Enterprise Networks activities in the United States. Licata's goal is to continue strengthening Siemens' position as an IP convergence leader in the U.S. enterprise communications market. He has held this position since March 2002 and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Licata holds a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
