VoIP's ability to enable interaction between man and machine is one of the key benefits. Included in these requirements are the abilities to store for voice mail and enable speech recognition. Enabling the interaction is what we are here to discuss.
Ray Adensamer, Marketing Manager, Convedia Ray Adensamer is the Marketing Manager at Convedia Corporation, a leading supplier of IP Media Servers. Ray has over 20 years of achievements in the data and telecommunications industries in the areas of product marketing and business development with Redback Networks and Nortel, along with OSS consulting experience while working with Deloitte Consulting and Accenture.
Mike Coffee, CEO, Commetrex Mike Coffee, Commetrex’ founder and CEO, has a 36-year career in high tech. A Georgia Tech EE, his career began as a computer designer. In 1976, he accepted his first marketing assignment as a computer-system sales engineer. In 1987, he made the transition to telecommunications. Immediately prior to founding Commetrex, he was VP, Marketing, at NMS Communications (nee Natural MicroSystems).
Dave Horton, CTO, Pactolus Communications Software Dave Horton is the President, CTO, and founder of Pactolus Communications Software. Dave has built several generations of network services platforms for the carrier market, previously as TDM-based platforms and for the past 5 years as SIP-based solutions at Pactolus. Dave is the lead architect for all key platform software products including the RapidFLEX™ Service Creation Environment, Application Server, and IP Media Server. Currently, the RapidFLEX platform is processing over 10 billion minutes of IP voice services annually for carrier customers worldwide. Dave was previously Vice President of Engineering for Open Development Corporation (ODC) and development manager at AT&T Wireless. He holds a BA from Amherst College and a SM in business from Sloan Business School at MIT.
Kipton Heuertz, VP Product Management, Americas for Eicon Networks Mr. Heuertz joined Eicon Networks in October 1998, he currently is Vice-President of Product Marketing for the Americas. During the last 22 years, he has acquired domestic and international expertise in management, marketing, sales and technology; encompassing data processing, networking, e-commerce, and video conferencing. Prior to joining Eicon, he held marketing, sales and management positions at Clarke American Corporation and Datapoint Corporation. He also held various technical and marketing positions for more than 10 years at IBM Corporation.
Alex Vishnev, CTO, Globalrock Networks Alex Vishnev has been involved with software development for over 20 years. Mr. Vishnev co-founded Interface Alternative (iFace.com) in 1992. Acting as Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Vishnev specialized in developing a high density, carrier-grade, open system distributed softswitch architecture based on cPCI platform using SUN Solaris Operating System and Natural Microsystems telephony equipment. Mr. Vishnev has been working in the fields of Object Based systems, Object Oriented Databases, Operations Support Systems. He has also spoken extensively on the subjects of SIP, VoiceXML, Service Mediation, Distributed Architecture and OSS integration. Mr. Vishnev holds a Bachelor of Science degree from NY University. While acting as CTO of Globalrock Networks, Mr. Vishnev manages software developers located in US, Canada, Phillipines and Russia.
