The problem with Mobility is you never know if your intended locations will
provide access to WIFI. The Operators look at the issues they face in
deploying WiFi in a useful manner which will provide users with the
knowledge of where to access hot spots. WIFI Operators will share their
insight in the deployment of support services for roaming.



Alan Duric, CTO, Telio

Alan Duric is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Telio AS, the fastest growing Nordic Broadband Telephony/Multi-Modal service provider.

Duric is an early pioneer of VoIP and brings almost a decade of experience in VoIP and active contribution through his development and standardization work (as a co-author and/or contributor to number of IETF, ETSI and ITU standards). Beside his standardization work, as a developer and senior systems architect at Ericsson, Alan was involved in the early deployment and development of some of the worlds largest VoIP networks such as deltathree.

At Global IP Sound (suppliers of voice components for Skype), Duric worked as Senior Systems Architect, where he steered standardization efforts and was responsible for iLBC (internet Low Bitrate Codec), an IETF and CableLabs standard codec for VoIP.



Ralph Hayon, CEO, Natural Wireless

Ralph Hayon is the CEO and founder of Natural Wireless, LLC, a company focused on wireless services, systems and solutions for businesses and communities. The company is focused on wireless for public Internet access, voice of IP and IP video applications, including indoor and outdoor applications. In 1998, Mr. Hayon founded congruency, inc. a voice over IP company that introduced the industry's first HTML based color LCD, touch screen IP telephone, the i.Picasso 6000 and Linux based CNS3200 IP telecommunications system. As CEO of congruency, Mr. Hayon succeeded in raising $24M of funding and merging congruency with Telrad Tenecs in 2002 to form Telrad Connegy, a worldwide telecommunication equipment provider for enterprises with annual revenues of over $20M for 48% of the newly merged company. Prior, Mr. Hayon was Vice President of Wireless Data at Geotek Communications, a wide area wireless communications service provide. Prior to this position, Mr. Hayon held technical and business positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories for 9 years, including wireless telephony (AT&T's Autoplex System). Mr. Hayon also is a member of the board of Telrad Connegy and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).



Sarah Hofstetter, Sr. V.P., Corporate Communications, Net2Phone

Sarah Hofstetter has been on the Senior Management team of Net2Phone (NASDAQ:NTOP) since its inception as a division of IDT in 1996, most recently as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, aggregating the company’s messaging across all target markets. From February 1999 until January 2002, Ms. Hofstetter ran the company’s PR Initiative as the Vice President of Corporate Communications, establishing the company’s name as a leader in consumer, business and trade media worldwide in conjunction with two public offerings. Ms. Hosfstetter sits on the Board of Directors of the IPCC, was recently Vice Chairman of the International VoIP Council, and regularly contributes articles to many trade publications.



Dick Snyder, Sr. Vice President, Marketing, Concourse Communications

Dick Snyder is Senior Vice President, Product Marketing of Concourse Communications Group. Concourse is in the business of installing and managing neutral-host wireless systems in places such as airports, tunnels, and other public venues, acting on behalf of the governing authorities. Before joining Concourse, Dick spent 34 years in Lucent Technologies and its forerunners, the last 16 of which were in various disciplines associated with the Wireless Industry. Dick then joined MobileStar Network, a now defunct startup broadband wireless ISP operating in public hotspots where he was Vice President of Business Development. In his current job with Concourse, he is responsible for managing the 4-P’s of Marketing.



Ted Wugofski, Device Products, Boingo Wireless

Ted Wugofski is leading Boingo's strategy for non-PC devices – whether they be mobile phones, portable game players, or music players. Ted comes to Boingo from Openwave and Phone.com where he held several senior management roles in technology, standards, and market development for device products and messaging. He was instrumental in the creation of Internet technologies for mobile phones, having co-written standards for WML, XHTML, CSS, and SMIL. Before Openwave, Ted held senior technical
positions at Gateway Computer, AST Research, and Tandy Electronics where he was responsible for software architectures for the world's first PC/TV and PC/Telephony convergence products.
