US Telecom Policy Summit

In this 1 day pre-conference summit, we recap what's going on in the world of VoIP regulation in the US, as regulators take notice of what was previously a new entrant game. We'll explore whether the participation by the incumbents represents a concern for a competitive marketplace and how the existing taxation structure can be supported in an all VoIP world. These and other key issues will be addressed, including:

  • How regulators will redefine the enhanced service provider exemption?
  • What is being done to support existing public good and taxation models?
  • An analysis on whether telecom can remain under some mix of state and federal jurisdiction?
