Changing the World Through the Fast Net
Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 4:15pm - 6:00pm
Pip Coburn, global tech strategist for UBS, has discovered change generally happens when the industry involved is feeling such pain they have no other choice. Telcos jumped into DSL to match cable's data; now they're going into television as cable takes on voice. After two days of hearing about incredible technologies, mostly developed by small companies, this session will look at where and when the innovation will reach millions of people. What inspires Korea, Japan, Paris, and Verizon to take the lead while others fall behind?
