Jorgen Bjorkner, Founder and CTO, Telepo

Jörgen Björkner has a wealth of experience within the VoIP field. In 2003, he founded Telepo (www.telepo.com) together with Lars-Michaël Paqvalén, a fast-growing software company providing efficient convergence solutions for large and medium-sized enterprises and service providers.

In 1997, Jörgen started to promote SIP as the future of communication within the Swedish service provider, Telia, where he was responsible for the company’s IETF standardisation activities.

In 2000, he joined the broadband telephony infrastructure vendor Hotsip, which was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2006, as VP of Concept Development. Jörgen also founded the SIP Forum (www.sipforum.org) where he was the chairman of the board for three years and among the
board of directors for over four years.



Geoff Baird, Vice President and General Manager, Appliances, Mobility and Small Systems Division, Avaya

Geoffrey Baird is Avaya’s vice president and general manager, Appliances, Mobility and Small Systems Division. Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services for businesses.
Baird is an industry veteran with extensive experience in the enterprise and mobile device markets, including wireless software and end client devices. Previously, he served as CEO of Commtag Ltd., a wireless application start-up, COO of Psion Computers, the handheld computing company (both based in the U.K), and Director of IP telephony business at 3Com.

Born in the UK, Baird has an M.B.A. from the London Business School and a B.S. in cybernetics and control engineering with mathematics from the University of Reading in Reading, UK.



Sundeep Gupta, Senior Product Manager, Mobile Unified Communications, Cisco

Sundeep Gupta is responsible for Product Management of the mobile offering for Cisco Unified Communications. He brings over 15 years of experience in building market leading high-technology products with specialization in new products and market development. Prior to Cisco, Sundeep was at Orative Corporation, an enterprise mobile telephony company that was acquired by Cisco. Sundeep's previous work experience includes Nuance Communications and IBM. Sundeep is a holder of two patents and holds a graduate degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University.



Venkat Kalkunte, Voice Architect, Aruba Networks

Venkat Kalkunte is the voice architect at Aruba networks with responsibilities that cover efficient transport of voice-Over-WIFI, client battery life improvements, secure roaming between access points and Fixed Mobile Convergence. Before Aruba Networks, Mr. Kalkunte served as the CTO and founder of DiVitas Networks, an Enterprise FMC company. He was the founding engineer at Transmedia Communications, [which developed the industry's] first carrier class VoIP trunking gateway, [and was] acquired by Cisco Systems in June 1999. Mr Kalkunte has over 19 years experience in telecom and datacom. Mr Kalkunte has been involved in various engineering management and architectural roles at Cisco Systems [both Enterprise and carrier divisions], Tekelec, Alteon, Trillium, Stratacom, and Digital Equipment Corp.
