Robert Boxall, Director of Wireless Software Development, PCTEL

Robert has over 14 years of experience in the wireless industry. Robert started his career in physical layer design for GSM handsets with Alcatel. He then accepted a position at Motorola, developing physical channel and system simulation tools for Motorola. He transitioned into System architecture with Layer 2 and 3 design of iDEN Push - To - Talk (PTT) and packet data networks and proposed an IP infrastructure solution for iDEN, utilizing SIP for signaling. In 2000, Robert joined cyberPIXIE, a Wireless LAN technology startup, and headed development of a SIP based infrastructure and client solution. Acquired by PCTEL, he managed the development team that created client software products that have been commercially launched by AT&T, NTT DoCoMo, T-Mobile, and Vodafone . Over the last two years he has moved into new product creation with a focused on wireless devices . During this period he has been releasing Symbian and Windows Mobiles based products and has created PCTEL's IMS product portfolio.



Aidan Dillon, CEO, Accuris Networks

Aidan Dillon joined Accuris Networks in 2003 where he currently oversees all of Accuris Networks as the CEO. Prior to joining Accuris Networks, Dillon headed the Mobile Networks Engineering division for IT services company LogicaCMG where he was responsible for the development and global deployment of both the Messaging and Mobility product lines. Dillon came to LogicaCMG via a merger with Aldiscon in 1997 where he oversaw its roaming, security and intelligent networking products business unit. Prior to that, he was a software engineer at Silicon and Software Systems (S3), a Royal Philips Electronics subsidiary.
Dillon earned his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and a research master’s degree engineering science from University College Dublin in Ireland in 1987 and 1989, respectively.



John Hannan, Director, Business Development, QUALCOMM

John Hannan has been working in the wireless communications sector for the past ten years. Currently, he holds the position of Director, Business Development at Qualcomm Inc. San Diego, Ca. where he is responsible for assessing business opportunities for emerging wireless technologies. In the past, he has also been active in the area of technology assessment and economic modeling of 3G wireless systems. Hannan joined the company in 1998 as a Senior Network Planner. Prior to joining QUALCOMM, he worked as a Senior RF Engineer for Sprint PCS deploying its CDMA wireless network in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Hannan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Arizona.



Steve Horvath, Senior Consultant, Teleplus Consulting

Steve is presently a Senior Consultant for Teleplus Consulting where he focuses on Mobility and Wireless Strategy and Emerging Business Opportunities. Steve has 17 years of experience in various positions of business development and the strategic alignment of technology. His consulting experience has included the application of mobile technologies, including leading mobility R&D efforts for Turner Construction Company.

Formerly, Steve was an executive at The ServiceMaster Corporation, including responsibilities for B2B strategy. Steve became the CIO for WeServeHomes.com, a Kleiner-Perkins-Caufield-Buyers venture backed company where he managed an $18 million technology budget and built a technology team of more than 50 people.

Steve has experience working both with Fortune 500 executives and with enterprising start-up companies. As a sophomore in college, he began his first software company focusing on niche vertical markets culminating in its successful acquisition 9 years later. In 1997, Steve then became a pioneer in the eLearning market demonstrating successful results to customers such as DuPont, CSC, and SAP America.

Steve has a BS with honors in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He also spent a year on scholarship studying at the University of Nottingham, England.



Bill Leasure, Senior Seamless Mobility Business Development Manager for Motorola Mobile Devices Business, Motorola

Bill Leasure oversees business development for the Fixed Mobile Convergence organization in Motorola’s Mobile Devices Business. Prior to Motorola, Bill served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cicada Semiconductor and MicroOptical Devices. Bill also has over 10 years sales and marketing experience at the Intel Corporation.
