Joel Fisher is responsible for strategic partnerships at Ditech Networks. Joel is also a founder of the Voice and Video over IP Quality Alliance and currently serves as its President. Joel joined Ditech Networks in 2005 as part of Ditech's acquisition of Jasomi Networks where he served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Joel’s experience includes more than 14 years in telecommunications and networking where he has served in a variety of marketing and business development roles. As an early evangelist for VoIP, he has written numerous articles and presented at many industry events.
Raja Gopal, Director, Product Management, Sylantro Systems Corporation
Raja Gopal joined Sylantro Systems in 2004 and is currently the company’s director of product management. In this role, Raja oversees mobile product strategy and investments, and is responsible for delivering enterprise and consumer communications solutions to telecom carriers such as AT&T, China Telecom, and Swisscom, as well as channel partners throughout the world. Prior to joining Sylantro, Raja worked as a senior product and marketing manager at Motorola, where he successfully launched several new products and services, including the launch of 3G wireless network products, and developed and delivered security and push-to-talk solutions to global customers, including KDDI Japan, Pele-Phone Israel, and Verizon. Raja earned a masters degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, a MBA from the University of Chicago, and recently completed courses at the Stanford Executive Institute.
Duane Sword, Vice President, Product Management, Empirix
Duane Sword is Vice President, Product Management and leads the product policy, roadmap development and strategic planning efforts across the Empirix portfolio of VoIP and IMS testing, Contact Center test and management and Web applications test and management. Prior to joining Empirix, Duane held product management, business development and functional operations management positions with Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard. He has worked extensively in the telecommunications industry from wireline to wireless radio access networks with more than ten years in broadband communications test including Frame Relay, ATM, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, regulated broadband wireless, Voice over IP and the IMS application core environment. Duane has deep experience in the development and predeployment labs of manufacturers and service providers across Europe, North America and Japan. A regular speaker at industry seminars and conferences, Duane holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT).
