Stan Claes, Product Manager, IP Home Gateways, Thomson

Stan Claes is Product Manager, IP Home Gateways, at Thomson. Stan has more than ten years experience in access and network technologies. He is in charge of the new technologies and partnerships, responsible for product roadmap and strategy. Prior to joining Thomson through the acquisition of the DSL gateway business form Alcatel in 2001, Stan held various positions in Alcatel’s corporate research group and the ADSL Virtual Company. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering (Electro-Mechanics) from the University of Brussels and worked there for two years as a research assistant. Stan also holds a Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Marketing.



Ted Fagenson, Executive Vice President, Strategic Business Development, 2Wire

Ted Fagenson is responsible for defining 2Wire's corporate marketing strategy, as well as evaluating and managing strategic initiatives, alliances, and joint ventures. Ted previously served as 2Wire’s vice president and general manager of management systems, and vice president of Asia Pacific and Latin American Sales. Prior to joining 2Wire, he held marketing management positions at several start-up companies delivering leading-edge products. While with Polycom, Inc., the world’s leading audio and video conferencing company, he served as the director of product marketing for the SoundStation audioconferencing product line. Ted also spent four years with Lucent Microelectronics in the DSP group working on wireless data networking, videoconferencing, and video telephony products. As a design engineer with Raytheon, he worked on the MILSTAR EHF modem and the PATRIOT missile system. Ted has an electrical engineering degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business Administration, University of Rochester.

Barlow Keener, Attorney, Keener Law Group

Barlow Keener is a telecom attorney with Keener Law Group. He has extensive experience in telecommunications, internet, and entertainment law. He helps clients in the wireless, video on the internet, VoIP, and telecommunications industries. Prior to Keener Law Group, Barlow served as CEO and Legal Counsel for a regional facilities-based CLEC in New England. He was instrumental in implementing strategic partnerships and designing the network. He also served General Attorney at CSA, Inc. an international consumer marketing company using direct-to-the-consumer video advertisements on cable and network television. He also headed up a telecommunications startup in Central Europe, Keener Kereskeldmi, Kft., focused on providing telephone service in rural Hungary and Poland.



Barlow started his career in telecommunications as a General Attorney with BellSouth Telecommunications (now AT&T) where he focused on regulatory, contract, and employment law. He has a JD from Emory University and BA from the University of the South.
