Industry Perspective Thursday, September 6, 2007, 9:15am - 9:45am Luc Roy, VP, Product Planning, Siemens Enterprise Communication will focus on the latest trends in enterprise FMC. Siemens' sells an end-to-end FMC solution that includes a SIP PBX, 3rd generation WLAN/VoWLAN, an FMC device that delivers seamless roam-in and roam-out, and complimented by a services group that can install, maintain, and/or host. Luc will speak to the migration from WLAN for data devices to VoWLAN to FMC including what major enterprise customers are saying is the reason they are implementing FMC as well as where the future is leading us.

Luc Roy is VP of Product Planning at Siemens Enterprise Communications, Chantry Networks Business Unit. Luc has more than 20 years of data networking and wireless experience in product planning, product management, product marketing, network design and go to market strategies. Past working experiences include Extreme Networks, Greenfield Networks, Alidian Networks, Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Wellfleet Communications. Roy earned a degree in Computer Science from the Department of Science at Ottawa University. He has served on the ITU's SC-6 (sub-committee for OSI's CLNP routing protocol) and currently participates in the IETF, IEEE 802.11 and WiFi Alliance.
