Industry Perspective: Thursday, September 6, 2007, 11:00am - 11:30am To break out in the marketplace, converged service providers have to be able to create new services for their customers that span all of the ways in which they access their customers. Not just the same services everyone else is offering. They must be unique to their market space. If you can offer something the competition doesn’t even have, if you can offer your target markets a set of solutions that saves them money and improves their lives, and you can do it in a converged fashion, then you will become the “sticky” service provider that customers will never give up. No more commoditization, no more price competition. Instead, it’s increased revenue and greater margins.
