Antonio Hylton, Chief Information Officer, Cook County Illinois

Mr. Hylton is Bureau Chief and Chief Information Officer of the County of Cook, Illinois, the second largest county in the United States. Cook County operates a $3.12 billion dollar annual budget. As the executive officer of the Bureau of Technology, he leads the organization's strategy and operations of the County’s technology air and ground infrastructure.

The Bureau operates the County’s voice and data networks, the shared service center, the print shop, and provides application support down to the desktop for most County agencies and departments. It comprises three major departments: Management Information Systems, Office Technology, and Central Services.

The Bureau of Technology is also responsible for “Project Shield,”
a
countywide network being deployed with U.S. Department of Homeland Security grants.
