In 1995 a profile appeared at Time Warner's Netly News. A follow up story appeared there as well. On April 10, 1996 Netly News announced the "Pulver Prizes for Way-New Journalism." I'm very flattered that the Netly team named the award after me. Ironically, nothing I did last year was even a contender for this year's awards. On May 10th, 1996 I co-chaired the VON Coalition / Booz-Allen Hamilton Conference entitled "The Role of the Net in Telecommunications". I attended and spoke at the Tarifica Conference "Dialling the Net" which was held at the Gloucester Hotel in London. Click here to read my report from the conference.

On March 18, 1996 we announced the formation of the VON Coalition. A copy of the press release is available here. The immediate purpose and goal of the VON Coalition is to: pursuade the FCC *not* to act favorably upon the ACTA petition.
