Candidate will work as a member of the Development team, designing and developing next generation VoIP services. The candidate must have knowledge of the new and existing Telephony protocols and their internetworking. The candidate must have a forward-looking attitude with vision to develop new, innovative services with evolving protocols.
This position will require extensive application development with a focus on security for VoIP applications and protocols. Participation in the architecture, design and development of security features for multiple IP telephony applications will be required. This position requires the ability to turn functional specifications and detailed design specifications into solid code.
Minimum Required Skills:
Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced and dynamic environment. Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task. BA degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience or at least 5 years of demonstrated experience.
- Working knowledge of implementation in security areas such as PKI, SSL/TLS, authentication protocols, identity management cryptographic algorithm and scheme knowledge
- Hands-on development experience of security components for Linux / Unix applications
- Working knowledge of security components for Win32 environment
- Ability to provide security expertise to the development team and work with customers to ensure security needs are met
- Demonstrated knowledge of C/C++ and Perl programming languages
- Experience with network and socket level programming
Demonstrated knowledge with the following software:
MySQL or Postgress Database
BIND Name Server
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem solving, and analysis skills
- Clear understanding of complete development life cycle from design through implementation
- Demonstrated ability to write clean code with excellent documentation
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
