Director of Marketing / Sales


Vox2vox communications is a leading innovator in the rapidly developing marketplace for enhanced IP-based network services. The firm was conceived, organized, and capitalized by private investors, internationally recognized in the financing and development of wireless and internet telecommunications companies .

Vox2vox strategic objective is to become the market leader in delivering a complete range of enhanced IP-based network services. These include voice/fax over IP, unified messaging and enhanced services, billing and customer care, audio conferencing Initially, Vox2vox intends to build an international network of points of presence and virtual private networks, in the Americas and Europe, by selling wholesale IP clearinghouse services, while developing distribution channels in each country, offering these value-added services as a means of differentiating the Vox2vox brand

The Director of Marketing / Sales will report to the COO.

This person will be responsible for:

  • New Product launch planning
  • New Product media planning and purchasing
  • Project Management of New Product launch advertising and marketing activities
  • Project Management and participation in the creation of collateral
  • Tracking results of New Product marketing activities.
  • Plan rollout of VOIP solutions, to accomplish desired market penetration.
  • Implement marketing strategy for assigned market and/or channel (i.e.: Exchanges, Carrier, Cable, CLECs, Enterprise, ISP's).
  • Review ongoing market analysis, which tracks competitive positioning, solutions, pricing, and related areas. Maintain full understanding of industry dynamics and standards activity.

Performance will be determined by the speed to market and success in the market place of the particular new services launched.

Background Requirements:

Successful track record in life cycle management of telephony / data solutions. It is extremely important that the DT has the personal presence and professional credibility necessary to earn the confidence of the key executives within the organizations of potential strategic partners. Strong market segmentation expertise (i.e.: Carrier, IXE, Exchange, ISP's, CLEC, Cable, ITSP). Mass market marketing approach with understanding of enhanced value added solutions. 5+ years in similar position. Experience in a company or start-up environment, in which the candidate has had to build an organization and establish direction without clear guidelines or policies, will be viewed as highly favorable. BS Business or Marketing, MBA a plus. Creative, strong analytical skills, problem solving. This highly creative individual must have good writing skills, project management skills, and thrive working under pressure.

Traveling requirements are high to moderate, and the knowledge of a second language (Spanish / French / Italian) is desirable. Headquarters will be located in the city of Miami, Florida, with offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Caracas, Venezuela, Milan, Italy and Istanbul, Turkey.
