Director, Digital Voice Product Operations


LOCATION: Bethpage, LI

RESPONSIBILITY:
Optimum Voice (OV), Cablevision's new consumer voice service, is Cablevision's third consumer product, complementing iO/Video and Optimum Online. The Director for Digital Voice Product Management will be responsible for the successful delivery and operation of Optimum Voice as well as for spearheading the development of follow-on incremental digital voice services. Specifically he/she will:

  • Spearhead product operations activities and actively manage demand and supply side activities to ensure OV reaches revenue objectives.
  • Manage the expansion of OV's footprint through close coordination with each of the operations groups.
  • Participate in development and corporate dissemination of product strategy e.g. content, supporting architecture, regulatory position, wholesale cost structure, relationship to Lightpath, brand definition, target market, consumer proposition, pricing, offers, features and benefits, etc.
  • Communicate revenue and expense objectives to business planning; commission ROI models for new strategies and tactics based on results tracking; communicate sales, customer growth, disconnect and revenue growth projections to sales and marketing organizations; oversee execution of sales and marketing plans.
  • Set the customer experience requirements for OV and coordinate strategic objectives, tactics and campaigns with digital, video and high speed data product management to create a cohesive approach to the market.


  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    Candidates must have entrepreneurial experience, a strong leadership track record across diverse functions, service operations expertise and P&L management skills. Prior Telephony Product Management & Development is highly preferred as is an understanding/proficiency in Operations & Fulfillment and Sales & Marketing. Specifically a qualified candidate must have:

  • Five to ten years or more of Product Management or Marketing experience with P&L responsibility for a telephone or other communications product.
  • Experience developing and deploying successful, high scale communication services.
  • Prior sales or operations management experience with demonstrated ability to deliver a sales, revenue, cash flow, ebitda or profit result.
  • Thorough understanding of broad organizations and ability to develop and evaluate management and communications processes across functions.
