The early adopters of WiFi services have been the Enterprises, but has the network been architected for islands of hot spots or campus support? This panel looks at the requirements for Enterprises to continue expanding and leading the market.
Geri Mitchell-Brown, Director of Business Development, Spectralink
Geri Mitchell-Brown, Director of Business Development for SpectraLink Corporation, is responsible for developing strategic technical partnerships for SpectraLink's Voice-over-Wireless LAN products. Ms. Mitchell-Brown influences corporate product strategy, establishes technical alliances with industry-leading companies, and represents SpectraLink in industry associations such as the Wi-Fi Alliance. She is currently Chairperson of the Wi-Fi Alliance's Marketing Task Group on Voice over Wi-Fi.
Joaquin Sufuentes, Computing Director, Mobility Group, Intel
Joaquin Sufuentes manages the strategic IT and IS business for Intel’s Wireless Network Group, with primary focus on enabling the enterprise market for a greater value-driven adoption of wireless products. Previously, Mr. Sufuentes held similar positions with Intel's Consumer Electronics Group, Network Processing Group, and the Access and Switching Group. He came to Intel via the acquisition of Trillium Digital Systems, a leading communications software company, where he served as CIO. Additionally, Mr. Sufuentes has experience delivering wireless business solutions with WLL, LMDS, and MMDS systems in Latin America.
Richard Watson, Director of Product Management, LongBoard
Richard Watson is Director of Product Management for LongBoard, developers of highly differentiated voice applications for carriers. Mr. Watson is responsible for managing LongBoard’s LMAP Applications Server and the OnePhone Application Software product lines. Prior to joining LongBoard he was Director of Product Marketing for Symbol Technologies’ WiFi Telephony VoIP products, where he managed software engineering teams and was responsible for developing Symbol’s WiFi Telephony products. Before joining Symbol, he worked in a variety of senior engineering and marketing roles for over 20 years in the industry for network and wireless companies including 3Com and Motorola. He contributes regularly to trade journals writing on leading edge topics on wireless VoIP and frequently participates on panels at industry shows.
Jonathan Zarkower, Director, Product Management, Colubris Networks
As director of product management for Colubris Networks, Jonathan Zarkower oversees Colubris' service provider solutions portfolio. With 19+ years of experience in the data communications industry, he joined Colubris from Lucent Technologies, where he held key product management roles for the company's edge and IP product portfolio. He came to Lucent via its acquisition of SpringTide Networks, a provider of carrier-grade IP services platforms, where he had been director of corporate systems engineering. Earlier in his career, he held a range of positions with Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, and Wellfleet Communications, including a key role driving the initial IP VPN strategy at Bay Networks. Zarkower holds a Bachelor or Science degree in General Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He is also co-author of "Virtual Private Networks: A View from the Trenches" published by Prentice Hall.
